541 Sussex
Built around 1955, 541 Sussex is a a former geological survey of Canada Building National Historic Site of Canada. According to Historic Places, the building was designated a national historic site because it is one of the oldest remaining buildings erected in the capital and it was the home, at various times, of public services and cultural institutions.
The scope of work at 541 Sussex involved removal and replacement of standing seam metal roof as well as several other building restoration upgrades such as new drains, replacement of deteriorated wood at roof deck and gutter framing and supports.
